Eskimo
Special place, special project
Name "Eskimo" is well – known among the citizens of Lodz.
It was a cotton plant situated in the antique factory of Ludwik Geyer who was a famous manufacturer in the beginning of the XIXth century and the first owner of the White Factory. In the area of 10,5 hectares between Piotrkowska and Wolczanska Str, in the front of a beautiful pond in the centre of Lodz and near the Textile Museum, impressive remnants of this factory may be found.
The Tower and several historical buildings will be preserved and this area again will become a characteristic and a unique place at Piotrkowska Str.
